The Lake Tahoe project showcases the sophisticated integration possible when door and window systems are engineered as complementary components rather than separate elements. This lakeside residence features the Sosoares OS sliding system below perfectly aligned with ST fixed windows above, creating an uninterrupted glass wall that maximizes the spectacular Lake Tahoe views.
The six-panel bi-parting configuration operates through dual motor automation from DAS, with panels pocketing completely to create an expansive 30-foot opening that transforms the interior into an outdoor pavilion. The engineering excellence extends below grade, where the entire sill system disappears into the floor construction, leaving only minimal track slats visible to maintain the clean aesthetic.
The true achievement lies in the seamless visual transition between the operable OS doors below and the fixed ST windows above. Matching profiles and sight lines create the illusion of a single, continuous glass wall spanning floor to ceiling, demonstrating how thoughtful system selection can eliminate the visual breaks that typically fragment large openings.
This installation exemplifies how technical precision and design vision unite to frame one of America's most spectacular natural settings.

INVISIBLE FOUNDATION
CONCEALED SILL TECHNOLOGY
Advanced engineering embeds the entire door sill system below the finished floor level, with only essential track elements remaining visible. This concealed approach eliminates the visual disruption of traditional surface-mounted systems while maintaining the structural integrity required for smooth operation of six automated panels.
